KW V5 Clubsport Coilovers: The new 4-way damping adjustable KW V5 Clubsport offers the latest KW Solid Piston GT3 motorsport suspension technology for the sportiest road vehicles with sports tire setup for use on the racetrack and on the road. The entire suspension design of the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit with its uniball bearings is designed for the use of semi-slick tires.
KW Solid Piston Technology for race track and street
In contrast to dampers with traditional orifice type pistons, KW uses its KW Solid Piston Technology (a displacement piston structure), which has been tried and tested in motorsport and is homologated in vehicles such as the BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R, for the KW V5 Clubsport coilover kit. The compression and rebound valves, which can be adjusted separately in the low-speed and high-speed forces, are arranged separately from the damper inner tube and the piston rod. As a result, the KW V5 Clubsport with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and the KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping offers significant benefits:

The body structure remains perfectly supported during aggressive steering maneuvers and extreme compression. Thanks to the adjustable multi-valve technology, the KW V5 Clubsport dampens bumps and relatively large transverse joints effortlessly. Notes
- 2: Height adjustable front and rear axles (front axle threaded strut housings, rear axle adjustable springs + dampers)
- 423: V4 suspension struts / dampers made of aluminum or combined axle-wise from galvanized steel (FA) and aluminum (RA)
- 67: Valving is adjusted by adjustment knobs, rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the design of the vehicle.
